Just an ordinary Wednesday, as usually we spend afternoon in Lakes where Èstelle has her swimming class. After the class, we met with friends and their kids for a tea time in Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort, the kids played in the Kids club and we "grownups" had little time for enjoying the quiet moment to talk about the life, the future and the past, we got even pretty spiritual, while enjoying lovely vegetarian dish in very beautiful Bounty Beets, which just opened in December 2018 is a place to enjoy healthy, fresh and delicious dishes with family and friends. Dedicated to positivity, well-being and sustainability, I definitively recommend this sensual place to visit, lots of greenery and lovely beach.

Today is a big day for our little star! She had her first open-air piano concert. The location could not be selected better, in Riverland Dubai. Fantastic place for families and kids. Èstelle attends a piano class for one year, she loves it and us too. We enjoy watching this beautiful little girl grow with such a great instrument as a piano. What a beautiful day, kids were running around without any stress from the presentation on the stage; it was a smooth and very professionally organized performance from all participants. All kids knew each other and enjoyed the day gratefully, not only by performing but also just playing around. Thank you for organizing the event. We love our music school, and we love our Èstelle! You are our superstar! So, for all of you out there, if you have a chance to learn something, don't say no to it, it will make you a rich person. Kisses Henrieta

Is there something more romantic as going to the Opera to see Edith Piaf show on Valentines Day? No, definitively not. This year Valentines was very spectacular for not only me but for all of us. I grew up in French-German-Czech influence, in my childhood listening to Edith Piaf songs singing by my grandmother was nothing unusual; it was our everyday ritual. Finding that in Dubai Opera will be Edith Piaf Show made me so happy! That is so romantic and so special and all that on Valentine's day! We didn't have to think long about what to wear! Our princess has to go in red to carry the love and we ladies wearing beautiful green gowns. I love this stunning dark green dress sprinkled with original Swarovski stones. The show was exceptionally entertaining, and the singer was excellent, we had a great time, crying and thinking about our elegant, beautiful lady and grandmother Marie. We miss you every day. After the show, we celebrated Valentine's day like monarchs, in gold and red, with tradition food, tea and music!

Today we have dropped Marcus to the airport, which is in Deira nearby the Festival City shopping mall, so we grabbed the chance to visit it after a long time not being here. I like this place for several reasons, but the major is that this Mall is not that crowded and most of the visitors are locals and no tourists. I love the atmosphere and also the shop selection; let's not forget the kids club, which Èstelle adores. For the IKEA fans, this IKEA is positioned directly in the mall. Festival City Mall offers nice and fancy shows throughout the whole year. This time the theme was Pirates, Èstelle loved that idea and already at home she dressed as a pirate! Me and my mum we waisted the time shopping and drinking coffee in lovely Belgium patisserie Godiva; and in the meanwhile Èstelle enjoyed herself in the kids club, which at this time, she spent a record time over 3 hours, she simply made lots of friends and did not want to go. My mum got from one lovely Emirate family a rose, that was a wonderful moment, without any specific reason, a young girl sitting next to us, came to my mum and gave her this flower. We are always lucky to meet beautiful and good people, this was another special moment to remember. Can you see the hand of Estelle on the picture, trying to grab the rose? Typical. After this pleasant experience, we went to see the Pirate show and played the pirates on the big wooden boat. Which was actually great fun. Today we met our lovely friends for tea after five. Weather is as usually beautiful, but you should never forget that in February after sunset gets pretty cold, not as severe as in Europe at the moment, but let's say 21°C definitively, and for someone used to hot Dubai weather, 21°C can be pretty chilly. So my little advice for everyone visiting Emirates in the winter season, get some light jacket or jumper, you will remember me. Today I am wearing my very favourite plissé skirt from Jacques Vert in light pink. I love this skirt for its light feeling by wearing it, and skirt is combinable with almost everything, I bought it last year and worn it so many times in all possible variations. The Top is from Victoria secret, and my shoes are from Vince Camuto. The fake fur jacket is around four years old, always good to wear in any weather condition, in Switzerland, I wear it over a warm Jacket, here to cover my shoulders. The hair accessory is a fresh flower from my lovely daughter. I want to remind everyone, that we all live only once, please make your life beautiful, never forget that every each of us is worth to live with pride and joy. No matter in which life circumstances you are at the moment, make the best out of it, believe in yourself and set goals for the short future, you will succeed. I have decided to live like a princess because I like it this way at the moment, I do all my best to follow my wishes and dreams, sometimes is that pretty hustle, but I always stay true to myself and remind myself what I really want, and that helps me to reach my personal goals. Today is Friday, that means here in Dubai is a weekend, so we decided to spend the day at home hanging around the pool, drinking coffee with my mum and play with Estelle and her dolls. We were surely not planning to do any sports activities. Suddenly Estelle brought a volleyball and after badminton rackets asking us to play. So I grab my chance to make some pictures to show you guys my new bikini, which I bought in the sale for 70 AED, original price 800 AED. So ladies, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. This time, I lost the Badminton game but won this lovely bargain bikini. Enjoy the lovely weather in Dubai! Now it's amazing! Just perfect temperature for any activities! Kisses, Henrieta

It is Wednesday very early morning, Èstelle has her French class, so we drove to Jumeira Islands. My mum and I went for a walk and made some pictures. I wear my very pink and very favourite dress with matching heels and handbag. What do you think? Is that too much for Dubai? I don't think so, here is all allowed, and I enjoy it. After our morning walk, we enjoyed a cup of tea at our friend's house. And let's not forget about the shopping trip to the Emirates mall afterwards, they had the last day of sales marathon, we had to visit. I made some excellent cutch, I will report about the next days. We visited Caffe Redurèe and Estelle's favourite yoghurt cafeteria, which was pretty good matching to my dress. Kisses, Henrieta

Sounds for lots of people very familiar, sure, why not. I love my garden because is quiet and every single day gives me lots of sun and rest, my flowers making me happy and proud. Two years ago there was only desert sand and nothing more. Me and Marcus, we planted every single flower growing here, and ever since than I am the patron this legacy. It gives my daughter plenty of space to play but also many precious moments when she learns about flowers and the little tiny creatures living within. From lizards, beautiful beetles, ants and colorful birds to our 2 straight cats living and guarding this magical place. We are in the garden every single day, garden is part of our living concept, or maybe better to say our big home and its design is very much part of living outside, thanks to big glass fronts everywhere which we keep most of the day open, it feels like living in the garden. This will be difficult guys, hmmm, how can I begin this story. Let me see. Our New year eve party was a little different as we usually celebrate. A couple of months ago my charming girlfriend suggested to celebrate this time new year eve very untraditionally, and as you know me, I am up for everything crazy, and her idea to celebrate the new year eve on the beach was actually not that bad. We have a special spot in Dubai name Banan Beach, which is a very Bohemian place with a possibility to stay overnight, with a swing in the water, huge fireplace and so on. Definitively great place to visit. We booked the venue with a big group of friends including the sleepover idea, (OK, this idea was turning as not very good as soon December was getting closer, and as you know even in Dubai in December gets colder in the night ), but OK, I had to live with it. The day D was getting closer and some of the friends, let's say ...the GIRLS (who else), started to complain about the temperature outside late nights, uffff I was so happy I was not alone. We have decided that we take our sleepover stuff with us, but the probability to sleep in the tent was getting less every day. The party itself was nice, because of our all friends being together, but the organisation and the food was not as good as we were expecting, especially for Dubai, everything is usually entirely managed till the tiny detail. How to say this correctly ... we very hungry and thirsty too, but the music was excellent. We dressed in Crazy Bohemian style and danced all night, but believe me; we were happy to spend our first night of 2019 in our beds. And that every one of us, even the strongest boys and kids. This Christmas season we have plenty of visitors from the beginning of December until mid-January. So you can imagine, this is not very relaxing and quiet time, more likely running around, trying to make everyone happy. But that is exactly what I love anyway. I am enjoying to treat my guests my very best. I love decorating my house, dressing up every day in beautiful dresses and going out from one event to other. Nevertheless, the Christmas day is dedicated to our home and our closest friends; we celebrate like this for many years. Most of the faces meet after a long year at Christmas day on our table, and we are happy to watch the scenario. Anyway, just wanted to show you our Christmas tree and my Christmas outfit, this year I picked this lovely light blue dress. Pictures are made with IPhone ( so not very good quality, sorry ), before our Big Dinner starts, and our friends will join us very soon. It is the end of October and Dubai is getting back to fashion fever. Last year we had the chance to visit fashion week Dubai for the first time. And two days ago we had the privilege again. Èstelle and I became a VIP invitation for International Fashion Week Dubai, found in the exclusive location of Sofitel Resort on the Palm, sitting in the first row with the royal highness, personalities from fashion industry of the middle east or with actors, is definitively something which not happened every day. Location and show were elegant, full of beautiful people, expensive cars and extravagant dresses. Thank you for inviting us, the fashion season just started, so we are looking forward to the coming fashion shows in November. Kiss H

Yesterday fashion week, today Dubai opera, Swan Lake. I was so thrilled to see this ballet since I discovered that the Houston Ballet ensemble is here in Dubai and that exclusively only for four days! Not only that I love anything to do with theatre, but going to see the Swan Lake with my little ballerina daughter Èstelle made it even more special. Some of our friends advised me that the ballet is exceedingly long (3 hours), and might be a too tragic story for our little daughter, but how could I keep her at home, if there is this unique chance to see the creme de la creme of a ballet performance. We risked it, and seriously, Èstelle was enchanted with entire atmosphere and with the fantastic performance, she was so much into it, that she lost the words for a while, Èstelle was such emotionally delighted from the music and dance, that she almost cried from happiness and joy. The cutest sentence of the evening was "...the dancer can dance how she likes because her teacher is not there ...". Haha, sure, she was right, the ones going with us for the ballet classes know what we are talking. It was an excellent decision to take her with us. And I would recommend to everyone to take their kids to see it. By the way, there was astonishingly lots of small kids. The show was amazing, awesome, absolutely extraordinary, breathtaking. The dancers were formidable, excellent, exceptional! I am still going emotionally only thinking about it. Therefore dear Houston Ballet, thank you for the beautiful performance, you made our evening unique, we will remember this day for a veeeeery long time. Kiss H
