The Alessi Brand is a housewares and kitchen utensil company in Italy, manufacturing and marketing everyday items authored by a wide range of designers, architects, and industrial designers. Alessi was founded in 1921 by Giovanni Alessi, born in Italy and raised in Switzerland. Alessi collaborated with designers like Aldo Rossi, Michael Graves, and Philippe Starck. They have been responsible for some of Alessi's all-time bestsellers, like the kettle with a bird whistle by Michael Graves. Yes, this famous kettle I have since more than 20 years, I have some pieces from this collection, and I have to say over 20 years, I still love to use it and watch it standing around in my kitchen.
